Official Vehicle Distance Tracking Sheets!

Dave Graffam has been at it again! This time he's produced official Atomic Highway seven-zone vehicle distance tracking mats along with bonus miniature-scaled battlemats of the same roads, both gridded and ungridded! He'll be producing assorted vehicle tokens soon to make tracking vehicle distance in AH even cooler, as well as more miniatures and terrain pieces for the minis users among us.

This game accessory features a heavily-weathered stretch of highway divided into 7 zones, which is just what you need to keep track of vehicle positions during chases in this awesome RPG. Two overhead views are provided in this packet, giving you a choice of a "straight overhead" look or a slight angled "perspective" view.

As a bonus, you get a 28mm-30mm battle mat of this scene!

The battle mat measures 16" x 20", which you can easily assemble from 4 sheets of standard-sized pages. An optional 1" gridded version of this battle mat is included.

CONTENTS: 2 full-color vehicle distance tracker sheets, and 2 full-color battle mats (plain or gridded). Each file in this set is in high-quality 300dpi resolution.

So, what's been happening?

Atomic Highway has remained in the #1 Small Press slot on DriveThruRPG for a month now, the first supplement is being split into two (Irradiated Freask! being the first one, dedicated to more mutations of every variety, more psychic powers, more humanoid animals, humanoid plants, and mutant critters). Irradiated Freaks! is nearing completion writing-wise, all of the interior art is done, and the cover is underway. So, it'll be off to editing and layout soon!

I've also announced the next R.A.D. rpg (Against Alien Gods! - Swords vs. Superscience Roleplaying!), and development is slowly beginning on it.

Well, after much toil, Atomic Highway goes to print next week, and will be available in stores as soon as it's printed and shipped! More news on that front as elements such as shipping dates become clearer.

In other Atomic Highway news, the .pdf will go up on sale on Drivethrurpg as soon as they set my account up, which should hopefully be any day now. The R.A.D. website already has the character and vehicle/mount sheets up for download, and the Atomic Highway Homebrewer's Guide pdf will soon be up for download too; not rules or regulations or anything, but rather a 2-page pdf explaining how to mechanically create and balance various elements of the game for your own use. :) This will be followed up in short order with a pdf of extra materials (a few more vehicles and weapons) as a freebie download as well.

I'll update the thread as new comes in. Stay tuned!

R.A.D. Goings-On

Feedback from playtesters has been awesome. Far better than I actually anticipated even, which was all kinds of cool.

Well, the Atomic Highway website is now well and truly getting up and running, including downloads of the character sheet and vehicle sheet, a brief overview of the V6 Engine system, and links to the forums, this blog, and the R.A.D. Zazzle merchandise page. I've just ordered a bunch of R.A.D. badges and keychains for gifts, as well as a R.A.D. mug for myself, so I'm curious to see what the quality is like.

The forum is starting to pick up a little speed now as well, with discussion about other possible V6 Engine rpgs after Atomic Highway. Some great ideas there being shared by forumites.

All-in-all, things are looking pretty damned positive.
